Ella is blessed with having grandparents who think the world of her and it is a complete delight seeing their faces light up when we open our door to them every week. Grandad (a bit like Dr Dolittle) can speak Ella’s language and spends hours playing with her and her toys (so much so, that I’m thinking of buying him a talking Cookie Monster as his next birthday gift). Grandma spoils her rotten with her beautiful handmade knitted hats, mittens, cardigans, to name but a few, and like myself, has a camera pointed in Ella’s direction for much of the time documenting each passing week.
On a beautiful summer’s day last year, we took all stroll round Tatton Park famous for its flower show. When you enter the gardens you are hit with the smell of blooms and freshly cut grass, and the noise of the buggy wheels rotating on the stoney path seems amplified as the gardens are so peaceful and quiet. We read, played on the Hungry Caterpillar rug and ate ice-cream. It really was one of my favourite days last year.
We’re off soon to Ireland and no doubt, Ella will be equally spoiled by her other Grandmother too.
I hope you enjoy looking at the images.
PS I sneaked some shots of some other lovely grandparents that day too and have included them in the post.
My prices are very competitive. If you would like me to take some similar family shots then please send me an email using the CONTACT ME on the website.
