Meynell Langley Hall Derbyshire

Danny and Hannah’s wedding took place at the peaceful settings of Meynell Langley Hall, Derbyshire. It wouldn’t seem right talking about their day without mentioning their large group of friends who I met night before and kindly shared a beer or two with me on the eve of the nuptials. I noticed immediately there was an extremely tight bond between them all, so much so, that Hannah and Danny had a joint hen and stag do, with everyone celebrating the upcoming marriage by trekking round Europe in a Campervan. And I definitely have to mention their good friend who travelled from Columbia over the course of 2 days and walked into the apartment 2 hours before the wedding!

Their day was very much an easy going, laid back affair. Hannah’s mum walked her up the aisle and Danny’s best man had the guests doubled over laughing as he produced a bazooka during the readings, blowing to the tune of ‘All you need is love’. The weather was perfectly perfect for a teepee wedding in the countryside and we scooted off to the next field in the hazy sunshine for their couple shoot in an old Mini that Danny and his dad refurbished from scratch. Hannah looked effortlessly chic and edgy in her Vivienne Westwood dress and the contrast of pretty and feminine flower crown was just beautiful.

Being a graphic designer and art teacher, Danny and Hannah made quite a bit of effort to personalise their venue with lots of beautiful crafty pieces which were dotted throughout. And as the day turned to night, a hipster DJ got the party started and I’m in no doubt, it went on into the wee hours of the morn.

Thanks Hannah and Danny for asking me to be part of your wonderful day.

And thanks very much to Lucy (Hannah’s sister-in-law) for kindly recommending me! I hope to see you and your new addition very soon!
